Note: The Student Supply Fee is the estimated cost that a student will spend to purchase their own necessary supplies for the class for the year. The Teacher Supply Fee is the cost of supplies that the teacher will provide for the student generally at the beginning of the year.
This is a fun, interactive theater class for the whole family that allows families to work together. We will be working on skits, plays, techniques, and methods of acting. Objectives for actors of all ages are to learn to interact with all ages. The more the merrier. Grandparents are especially welcome. This is a great class for those who may not feel ready to take theater on their own and want to expand their horizons. Work will include preparation for auditions and learning theater make-up. Students may need to provide their own costume, props, and make-up for the end of the year show.
American Historical Girls Theater - Mrs. Szalonek CLASS FULL
This class for girls will act out plays involving famous American historical fictional girls and develop them into real live people. The students will use character development and interaction to create a play during the life of the class. Students may need to provide their own costumes, props, and make-up for the end of the year show.
This class for boys will discover literatures greatest guys and make action heros come to life! They will learn how the tricks behind the scenes are done. Come FLY with us! (not literally) Students may need to provide their own costumes, props, and make-up for the end of the year show.
This class for teens will focus on the works of Shakespeare and Readers Theater. It is designed to help students become confident on stage. We will be exploring characters from books they are reading so they can develop these characters from page to stage!
